HANS was amongst many in the line-up of Burnaby's Best this year, and HANS Director Milt Bowling and Executive Director Lorna Hancock attended a celebratory lunch on April 27th to receive the award. This is the fourth year that HANS has received this award, and we feel privileged to be included in this winner's circle.

The Burnaby Now pulled out all the stops when they hosted the award winning lunch at the Eagle Creek Restaurant at the Burnaby Mountain Golf Course. Excellent food, service and presentation, to say nothing about the lovely setting right on the lush golf course.

And there was fantastic entertainment! Magician Rod Boss - www.RodBoss.com - was completely unbelievable and I can see why Brad Alden said that he is probably one of the best magicians in Canada. He is!

Mayor Derek Corrigan gave a short speech about the importance of community, which was, perfect.

Burnaby Now gets Lorna Hancock's Award of Excellence for the stellar job they did today, and my congratulations for helping to unite Burnaby by offering this activity.
