One of Dr Fred Loffler's biggest fans was early HANS Director, Len Greenall. Len brought a number of pictures into the office from a mid 1995 visit to Fred's office, and they were pictures of a recent weekend hike and overnight camping excursion. At 85 years of age, Fred had hiked 44 KMs with a 22 pound pack on his back. He felt great! Just as anyone should feel who eats right, exercises, and has a great attitude. This was Fred Loffler - proud to be a naturopathic doctor, and setting a great example for his family and wide range of friends.

I was really blessed in 1997 to meet Dr. Loffler at a naturopathic convention in Toronto, Canada. I remeber while eating lunch at the same table, how he divided up the food on his plate. I gave him the form of highest compliment and started to divide up my food in the same fashion. I remember , no matter what question I threw at Dr. Loffler, he had an answer. Dr. Loffler was very intelligent.
