On March 16, 2009, Shawn Buckley spoke in Kelowna at the Okanagan College to a spell-bound audience of 90-100 people. The topic was 'Endangered Natural Health Products', and in particular, Bill C6, currently introduced in Canadian parliament. Buckley encouraged people to go have a look at his Discussion paper on Bill C6, which is available on www.nhppa.org. It will show that not only is Bill C6 unnecessary &inappropriate, but is also dangerous and shocking. A step back into medieval times when the king could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, and was clearly above the law.

Buckley feels Canadians know nothing of the peril of this Bill, and hopes the public will wake up in time to do something about it. Like, get rid of it. Instead, Canadians need the freedom, and encouragement, found in the Charter of Health Freedom, a charter created by Buckley during the summer of 2008, which solves problems for individuals, the government, and regulators.
